Obsessed

Clothing Swap - TV Edition

My friend Amy, aka Punky, has been driving girls crazy with her amazingly creative and incredibly charming ideas such as the ones in her blog, her Clothing Swaps and the Haberdash for a little while now. There's a particular legion of girls that will follow her to any stylish corner in the world, too. We do consider ourselves swapaholics, since it seems like we have a lot more fun at the awesome swaps than in any real shopping spree around town. Shoestring Magazine, Frock, The Closet, Make Ready, Flaunt, The Second Glass, Meg Wright Photography and the Improper Bostonian Magazine are a few of the names some of these girls go by, and I shall say, we know how to have a fashionably good time.

When Channel 7 News Boston asked Amy if they could do a story on one of her swaps, we were all ready to go. I had the honor to host the cutest and most fun backyard, end-of-the-summer party my street has ever seen (in the current decade, at least -- I heard the old ladies in the street used to have a kickass good time back in the day).

Here are some of the photos my friend Meg and Amy herself took of our girlie day:

cocktail rings by Frock

pretty (and natural!) flower hairclips by Sprout

B-b-b-brigadeiro cupcakes, yum!

The Channel 7 Clothing Swap will be aired by the end of September. Hopefully we will have a clip of it to update this post.

PS: if you're in Boston, follow the Swapaholics on Twitter to find out when the next swap will happen!
